Development of work-related mental disorders during Covid-19 pandemic: an integrative review

Objective: To synthesize and integrate the results of previous studies to provide a comprehensive overview of the prevalence of work-associated mental disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. Methodology: integrative literature review carried out in electronic databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System Online (MEDLINE) and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS). Results: 329 articles were found, of which 21 were for screening and 07 were selected that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria for detailed analysis. The prevalence of mental disorders identified during the study period was anxiety, depression, stress, sleep disorders, occupational stress, burnout and post-traumatic stress. Conclusions: the main triggers of mental disorders were: isolation and social distancing, fear of the pandemic, changes in conventional ways of working and uncertainties regarding the future.
