Unusual case of geminated tooth with talon cusp

Abstract

Objective: To report the case of dental germination in a permanent upper incisor with a claw cusp and the importance of the realization of this morphological alteration. Methods: The study consists of a case report that occurred in the clinic of the Associação Cirurgiões-Dentistas do Piauí (ABCD-PI), no clinical examination observed that the direct upper incisor dental element presented anomaly, or the report was written with a Permission of the participant through a Free and Clear Consent Term is valid and murdered by the patient and his/her responsibility. Results: The examinations suggest that there is a pulp communication compatible with a dental germination allied to the clinical characteristics of the cusp in the claw. Conclusion: Geminated tooth with claw cusp can cause a variety of clinical problems that require early diagnosis.
