Lactancia materna en COVID-19: inmunoglobulinas específicas y evidencias de transmisión posnatal del SARS-CoV-2

Resumo

Objetivo: Investigar la presencia de inmunoglobulinas específicas en la leche materna de madres infectadas con SARS-CoV-2 y su posible implicación en la transmisión vertical. Metodología: Revisión integrativa realizada en PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, LILACS, literatura gris y listas de referencias, incluyendo estudios entre 2020 y 2024. Resultados: Se incluyeron 28 estudios que identificaron IgA, IgG e IgM en la leche materna. La mayoría señaló que la transmisión vertical por lactancia es poco probable con medidas de bioseguridad. Conclusión: Se recomienda mantener la lactancia materna incluso en madres infectadas, debido a sus beneficios inmunológicos y nutricionales. Se necesitan más estudios con metodologías estandarizadas y seguimiento prolongado.
