Tempo de tela e os seus impactos na saúde mental de crianças e adolescentes pré-escolares: uma revisão integrativa

Objetivo: identificar os impactos causados pelo uso das telas e mídias na saúde mental de crianças e adolescentes pré-escolares. Metodologia: O estudo foi realizado por meio de uma revisão integrativa baseada na literatura recente, a pesquisa foi realizada no período de outubro a novembro de 2023, usando as bases de pesquisas PUBMED, BVS, SCOPUS, WEB OF SCIENCE e EMBASE, nos quais foram selecionados artigos completos, publicados nos últimos cinco anos (2018 a 2023). Resultados: Foram encontrados 1.627 artigos validados nas bases de dados e foram selecionados 12 artigos para o estudo, onde de fato foram encontradas evidências que afirmam que o uso de telas provoca variados problemas de saúde mental. Conclusão: A análise detalhada revelou uma clara ligação entre o tempo de tela e os sintomas psicossociais em crianças e adolescentes, incluindo distúrbios do sono que desencadeiam problemas psicológicos.
