Análise dos impactos do TDAH na vida adulta:

uma revisão de literatura

Resumo

O Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) é uma condição neurobiológica caracterizada por padrões comportamentais distintos ou combinados. O TDAH pode persistir na idade adulta, manifestando-se de forma mais complexa do que uma mera continuação dos sintomas infantis, impactando negativamente os domínios social, acadêmico e profissional. Nesse sentido, este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar os impactos do TDAH na qualidade de vida de pacientes adultos. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura que utilizou as bases de dados PubMed, LILACS e SciELO. Foram selecionados 10 artigos. Apesar da escassez de investigações epidemiológicas sobre a prevalência de TDAH em adultos, há evidências crescentes de que o transtorno está associado a um comprometimento funcional significativo, afetando a qualidade de vida em múltiplos domínios, como desempenho profissional, relações sociais e saúde mental.
