Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurobiological condition characterized by distinct or combined behavioral patterns. ADHD can persist into adulthood, manifesting itself in a more complex way than a mere continuity of childhood symptoms, impacting levels in the social, academic and professional domains. In this sense, this study aims to evaluate the impacts of ADHD on the quality of life of adult patients. This is an integrative review of the literature that used the PubMed, LILACS and SciELO databases. 10 articles were selected. Despite the difficulties of epidemiological investigations into the prevalence of ADHD in adults, there is growing evidence that the disorder is associated with functional impairment, significantly affecting quality of life in multiple domains, such as professional performance, social relationships and mental health.
