Tratamientos antihemorrágicos para pacientes con hemofilia sometidos a extracción dentaria: una revisión de la literatura

Resumen

Objetivo: Presentar, a través de una revisión de la literatura, los tratamientos antihemorrágicos actuales para pacientes con hemofilia sometidos a extracciones dentales. Metodología: Esta es una revisión de la literatura. La búsqueda de artículos se realizó en las bases de datos Pubmed, web of science y scopus. Se incluyeron artículos en idioma inglés, disponibles íntegramente entre los años 2013 y 2024, se excluyeron búsquedas que se duplicaran entre bases de datos, publicaciones incompletas o que no se ajustaran al alcance de la investigación. Resultados: En total, se incluyeron 13 artículos en la revisión. Las principales terapias encontradas fueron: Desmopresina, Antifibrinolíticos, Ankaferd Blood Stooper (ABS), Apósito local (TachoComb), Ácido tranexámico, Profilaxis con emicizumab, Trombina-gelatina (Floseal) y otras. Conclusión: Existen una serie de tratamientos antihemorrágicos para pacientes hemofílicos sometidos a extracción dental. Estas terapias varían según el defecto hemostático específico, su gravedad y el tipo de procedimiento quirúrgico.
